cannonmn,

Thanks for the links. I was wondering if you could email me a few of your photos. I would like the photos of the Shenandoah signal gun and the Dahlgren on the metal truck. If you would be so kind. I have sent you a PM containing my email address.

The museum used to have the pair of CSS Shenandoah salute guns, but the Secretary of the Navy wanted them for display in his office (this goes back many years.)  The SECNAV was at the time married to a famous actress, but then got divorced after he left office.  His famous ex returned one of the guns to the museum, bless her heart, which is the one you see.  I keep watching the obituaries for his name so I can help get the other one back to the museum.  I'm assuming he still has it, which may or may not be the case.  Maybe I will call the mus. and find out for sure.

Hey Cannonmn, I missed you there at the Forks of Delaware show.  I was there Sunday AM and was checking out the swivel guns too.  Great videos!   Dom
