Unloading Inline Muzzleloaders

I'm curious how all you guys unload your inline muzzleloaders after a day of hunting?  What I have been doing is to unscrew the breach plug dumping the powder/pellets, then use the ramrod to shove the bullet through the breach end of the barrel.  Seems like the easiest way.  I have never fired it off or soaked it in water like they say to do.  I wonder if there is really any danger of igniting the powder with this method.

I dont unload mine unless I've hunted in rain. I leave it for 4 to 6 weeks a lot of times. 1st couple of yrs I would shoot at target after a couple weeks to see if my accuracy was affected and it was always dead on the money, so now I leave it in until I shoot. Its not corosive until burnt.

No not unless you leave the primer in or have it around fire/high temps. That's always how I have unloaded them.

Same here, mine has always gone bang when it was supposed to.
