Result of Remington 750
« on: September 01, 2007, 10:16:45 AM »
Result of Remington 750 carbine .308 went very good. Today I went to range to sight-in my new scope 2-7x33mm and was very impressed with my new Rem 750 carbine. Less than half inch group of 4 shots out at 50 yards was very unbelievable for an auto. After that, move to 100 yards and it was only 1 and half inch of 3 shots group.. ITs shoot like a bolt action rifle. I am definitely ready for hunting season. Just want to tell you.. 8)

I gut got a 308 carbine too.  Factory shells went through it good.  I had some old reloads from an old gun and some of them jammed.  I can't blame the gun for that.  I just orderd a small base die.  Shot good group.

SteveADK, You did the right thing ordering a set of small base dies for your semi-auto. I've been using a set of SB dies for two different 30-06 semi-autos and they shoot and function great.

GOOD SHOOTING!

SteveADK,
What kind of accuracy are you getting from your 30-06?
