Excel/Pardner Pump Barrels

Are the barrels interchangable between the Excel and the Pardner Pump?

Thanks, Tim.  Good reading, but I still don't know if the barrels will interchange between the Excel and the Pardner Pump.  Mostly just curious, but I find it kind of odd that H&R didn't offer a defense barrel for the Excel.  Unless there is just not enough demand/desire for the Excel.  I have 1...ONE...1 PUMP GUN, that's all I wanted.  That will be tricked out for HD/Camp gun.  All my hunting and sports shooting will be done on my Pardners.  As it should be.
