Handi 243 transformer!!!!

Went hunting the other day with the 243 ejector can home it was an extractor can't figure it out everything works it just will not eject it pushes the case out like a extractor?

Spring broke, gummed up, rusted or something like that. Remove and clean it, tune it up per the FAQs.

If you could get it to do that on command you'd have something. :)

I would clean it real good first.
If that doesn't work take her apart.

I have cleaned it very well still can't get it right the only reason i like it is target shooting (i reload) but hunting i like the ejector. I may rebuild it after season goes out.

You might want to look at the old instructions on converting an ejector to extractor.
The "shaded area" should be checked out.
