410 loading dies for rifle press?
« on: December 16, 2007, 09:00:18 AM »
Does anyone make reloading dies for 410  shotgun shells to be used in standard rifle reloading presses?I may be missing some important drawback, bu it seems to me that a lot of people with 410s would find these more convenient than setting up a whole new press.Just asking.

Hi

This may not be what you are looking for but I have had good success using 444 Marlin brass for loading 410 in

And you can make most of the tools you will need if you already have 444 dies

Just a thought

Lee used to make a small set to load for alot of different rifle, handgun and shotgun`s. They came in a small box with a rod to knock out primers and what you needed to seat primers, wads and crimp with. They were in fact, the best thing Lee ever made. I do not like Lee junk, but those things were handy if you did want to load to much ammo. If your going to load much, just get a Mec press and forget it.
