rws 350 scope and mount

I know they tear up Mounts and scopes, What scopes have lasted the longest? also do i need to do anything to the rail before putting the scope like loctight the rail to the gun? I have just upgraded (not retired) my rws mod 94 .177 to 350 .177

I use the BKL - D7 mount which corrects for droop.  Works great for me.  I use the Bushnell Legend 5-15x40 MD AO scope.  Had it on the rifle for about 2 years with zero problems.  Good scope.

I also have the RWS 94 and love it.  Great rifle IMHO.
