I am new here but i love the diversity of this place. Just kinna think it would be neat to have a Missouri forum. I am involved in several youth hunting activities here in Missouri and would like to have a place to discuss good ole MO.

Heck ya your welcome. Everyone is welcome here. Im a staff member on another site but am not here to recruit members. I just thought this would be a great way to imform you guys about our auctions to raise funds for our youth hunts. And to get more people a chance to take there kids hunting if they need assistance with guiding and such. I also think it would just be an awesome way for al us sho-me boys to hang out and discuss events that effect us as hunters and Missourians. I hope this forum gets the attention i hope for. Thanks alot Greybeard and i will make sure to keep it under control. I will enjoy another forum to be active in. And if anyone has any questions or needs help with anything please let me know. And i would like to say everyone feel free to converse here about anything that is within the rules. It doesnt have to be just about Missouri. And you dont have to be from missouri to use this forum. Everyone is welcome just please be nice to each other as you normally would.

I grew up in Fairdealing, and almost drowned in the Ripley county lake when I was a little-un.
My dad moved us to St. Louis looking for a job in the late 60's. I was just in Doniphan to attend my Uncle Art's funeral, gettin old sucks!

Went to high school in Poplar Bluff , and now live in Jefferson City area. Looking forward to monitoring this site and learning a lot of new Missouri stuff. I shoot a lot of SASS and fish the Missouri river in the summer. Hunt deer and turkey in NE part of state[northwest of Monroe city].

Just thought I'd let you know there are people that live north of the river too. I'm from north central Mo. (Sullivan Co.) We have some great hunting in this area. Mostly private land but there is a few public areas.
