Well they arnt great, but theyr ok. Just wanted to show my shell holders off and show my "in progress sling". The sling is a quick detach one so far it hasn't had any problems, I still have another peice of leather to throw on the strap and have a few adjustments to do with the lashings on it but other than that its pretty plain. I Hope to do some tooling on both shellholders and the sling when i get home for break (Sat). Anyways, goin shooting tom to shoot em both, whether it snow or blow i am still going! ;D Anyways, if yall got any ??'s or got better ideas on how to build em or just wanta post yours that you made have at it! The shorty is the Hornet and the BC is my 45/70. Thanks for looking! ;D

Naw, I just like all my shell holders to give me a nice punch in the cheek every time i pull the trigger! ;) Ya know, it keeps me awake a little better especially in the cold weather an all! ;D

Just pulling your chain, ya i am a legendary southpaw, been shooting that way since i was a kid, i am ambidextrous when need be though, just a lot quicker and more accurate with the other!

Quick your welcome. By the way, you wouldnt happen to have that pic. of a sling you found would ya? I looked for that post but could never find it. I think you found it on cabellas or something, I looked on their sight to but couldnt find it. Anyways, let me know and thanks again for looking!

Hank -- mighty nice work! Glad to know you and JerryKo are fellow-Southpaws. It's one of the reasons I enjoy shooting Handis so much. The latch button falls right under a lefty's thumb -- thoughtful of those nice people in Gardner, Massachusetts!

Ain't all us leftys' ambidextrous.  We just favor our left is all. Life has made us this way. ;) I'm pretty much the same too.

Nice work there ... I like them best because the design is original and they look like they belong on your rifles. Good work. I see you're still in school and that's always good news. Someday maybe I'll get back through your area and we can do some shooting. I don't have either one of your calibers but I'm sure thinking about a couple more early this next year.
