New Recoil Absorbing Pro Huinter Stock?

  Has anyone used this stock? The T/C web site says a reduction in felt recoil of 43%. This is an impressive claim. Was wondering if they work as advertised for high recoil calibers?  The lightweight Encore can use help in the recoil dept. and this item might help the problem?

Love mine, and it works... It still recoils but the energy is transformed from a quick kick to more of a long push. Which makes it more comfortable. Id buy it again if that says anything!

My opinion is that they are worth the cost. I have one. I did get to try a 300 Win Mag pro Hunter it felt like a 243. I don't like big calibers, the flex tek sure helps.

Do they have them, or some type of recoil reducer, in stocks other than the synthetic.  I was wanting a laminated stock, but don't see anything about recoil reduction on those.

Ive only seen them in synthetic and looking at mine I don't think wood will flex enough with out breaking over time. Now you could just up grade to a Sim's limb saver recoil pad on a wood stock. That would be the same thing but just with out the  additional pads integrated into the stock.

That will make a difference,but not as much reduction. I had a T/C Omega,and installed the Sim's pad on it. It did help allot,but still doesn't shoot as smooth as the Pro Hunter with heavy loads. Ron
