Recycle or go to Hell, warns Vatican

Malcolm Moore
London Telegraph
Monday, March 10, 2008

Failing to recycle plastic bags could find you spending eternity in Hell, the Vatican said after drawing up a list of seven deadly sins for our times.

The seven, which include polluting the environment, were announced by Monsignor Gianfranco Girotti, a close ally of the Pope and the head of the Apostolic Penitentiary, one of the Roman Curia's main court.

The "sins of yesteryear" - sloth, envy, gluttony, greed, lust, wrath and pride - have a "rather individualistic dimension", he told the Osservatore Romano, the official Vatican newspaper.

The new seven deadly, or mortal, sins are designed to make worshippers realise that their vices have an effect on others. Fruit cake!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well the roman catholic vatican should certainly know how to get to Hell on this issue. They have led enough folks to Hell to be considered experts in that field. ;)

Taking drugs is another of the Pope's "new" sins.

The guy is 81 years old.  Don't tell me he or any other eighty-one year old man is NOT taking about 5 drugs a day to stay alive.

If failing to recycle gets you a trip to hell then what does actively allowing pedophile priests
to rape the youth of your flock get you?

They fail to tell all their poor followers that all sin is deadly and mortal and will send one to hell. Just another one of Romes hi-jinks to rob the TRUTH from those who think it's the one true church.

Your absolutely right Graybeard. I grew up in the Catholic church and my cousin and I were both altar boys in Massachusetts.
My cousin was raped by our priest many times. I thank the Lord for making me big at an early age because this priest didn't go
after me, he only went after the small weak kids. My cousin kept all this inside until the priest scandal broke a few years ago.
It basically ruined his life. He is still struggling with drug addiction.

When all was said and done it was found out that the archbishop of the Boston archdiocese at the time (cardinal Law) had known this particular
priest was raping little boys at a church in Methuen Mass. Instead of kicking him out like normal people would have he just moved this priest to
my church where he proceeded to rape my cousin and a bunch of other boys. One altar boy committed suicide becuase no one believed
his story when he tried to out this priest.

This same story was repeated in a whole bunch of cities across Massachusetts and cardinal Law was responsible
for every instance of moving priests to a different church when it was found out that they raped altar boys.

What is cardinal Law doing these days you ask? He was promoted to a cushy job at the Vatican where he lives to this day! >:(

My prayers for your cousin and for you also having to deal with such outright evil. I grew up a catholic in catholic school but I never saw or heard of any of this. Not only is celibacy unbiblical and the cause of this evil, but when this vileness does happen its like you said they at the very least don't do anything, and most of the time give him a better job. They oughta castrate somebody like that, but then again that's not good enough either. They oughta take anyone who is caught molesting children, and hang him up by it, and slowly slice it off until he hits the ground!!!(as you can tell I have absolutely no tolerance for child molesters) What makes me sick is this is the least punished crime in the US. This should receive the highest punishment in the US!!

Thanks for the prayers Jon. My cousin is living in a sober house right now in Mass.
and is doing the best he's done in a long time. I pray for him all the time and hope he
will let the Lord back into his heart.

At least the priest is in jail now but he ruined the lives of dozens of kids.
Another dirty thing he did was steal thousands and thousands of dollars
from the church collections to pay hush money to one of the kids he raped
who threatened to go public. There was another kid he bought a brand new
motorcycle for so he would keep quiet.

This was just one priest among dozens who did the same thing in Massachusetts alone.
There are literally thousands of kids in Mass alone whose lives were ruined by these
animal priests. It still makes me sick to think about what happened and the way the
catholic church reacted to it.

This is another example of Romes evil. Revelation 17 tells what God thinks about this institution, and the judgment coming upon her.

I will keep you and your cousin in prayer.
