Reboring/rethreading a barrel

I have a barrel I would like bored and threaded for a 338-06.  Does anyone know where to get this done and how much it might cost?  It is a Shilen barrel in 25-06 with a muzzle diameter the same as my 358 Winchester, so there should be plenty diameter at the muzzle.

Look, as a rule, especially with a brand like Shilen, you are better off to sell the barrel and buy what you want... There are small risks of imperfections in the steel that you assume when you rebore... If you must, search "reboring" ... Usually there is a firm or three doing it in the directory in the back of Gun Digest Annuals. benchrest.com has a long list of gunsmiths and barrel makers that should know who is set up to do what you want and give you an idea of costs. You don't want to know what I paid Mr. Ackley, long ago. (Under $100.-). No idea what it would cost today. HAPPY HOLIDAYS (all). luck.

I haven't had it done yet, but I've priced it a couple of times.  All of the prices I've seen were around $200-$250 to rebore the barrel, toss in an extra $50 or to rechamber it too. Honestly, unless it's an odd chambering or and old gun with a odd barrel contour, you can send it to ER Shaw and just get a new barrel installed (as long as it's a bolt action) for about the same price, maybe a bit more.  Or, if you have a good hometown gunsmith that can do the work, you can buy a Shilen tube and get it chambered and installed for about the same perhaps.

Thanks guys.  I've decided to re-barrel.  We have a good rifle-smith here who can do the work.
