« on: December 24, 2007, 09:01:57 AM »
finally some info for me on triggers im new to your forum, and am a keyboard pecker. ive been a single shot nut for life, have owned several in ruger and h&r.have always liked the concept of a reasonable priced truck gun-light hunter.never liked the trigger on any handis. seeked info for years always same results no.so one day i took my standard .243 apart studied it until i felt i could help it and did except after that it would only fire my reloads about half time and factory loads 9out of 10.i have read a lot here and see a couple of threads on this subject thanx now i believe i need a new trigger assembly for i did not at the time perform the trigger butchering like these instructions show. i would like to have a 2-4lb trigger will h&r sell me this? also recently looked a tc over think ill stick with the handi and work it out. thanx for this sight bdriller

Welcome and Merry Christmas! H&R won't sell the parts, they require them to be fitted and assured safe, but they'll repair it and make it a 3-3½lb trigger for the cost of shipping more than likely, Brownell's sells the trigger and hammer tho. If you want H&R to repair it, give em a call at their toll free number on Wednesday, (866)776-9292.
