I haven't started loading for this one yet. Hope to get started in the next couple of weeks. The barrel is a 16" SS Semi Octagon in 6.5X284Win. from MGM. I had the bottom of the barrel in the forearm area left round so I wouldn't have to cut octagon channels in my forearms. It also has 3 mounting holes instead of 2. The wood came to me unfinished from Otter Custom Stocks, Man this guy dose some excellent work. The 3 mounting holes are pillar bedded, and the grip has a Rosewood cap. The scope is a Burris 3X12 mounted on a Straton Custom 6 hole mount with 3 Burris Zee rings. This one will pull double duty for hunting and target.

Dave, That is one excellent looking rig. I just got a 6.5-284 from MGM also, but it don't look like that.

Tomorrow I am going to start some load D on this one. Hope to get started shooting it some this week if the weather holds. I will post some results later.
