sure, call to confirm delivery if you want. When I send receivers, barrels and anything to them I always send USPS Priority Mail WITH Delivery Confirmation (important!!). That way I know and have a record you can print from the computer of exactly when the item was delivered to them. Good Luck, I have them to be pretty good when you call....<><....:)

+1 on the Delivery Confirmation, it's free if you use Click-n-Ship. ;)

I'd send em an email right now, you'll get an answer Monday, be sure to give them the frame serial number, your phone number, name and address, it'll make it easy for them to look it up, and you won't have to spend time on the phone.

since you did USPS Delivery Confirmation just go the the "USPS Track and Confirm" website and type in the number on the edge of the green and white receipt they gave you. It will immediately give you the delivery information....<><....:)

and let us know when it was delivered to them, if you need any help with the query just ask, we are here to offer opinions, assistance, and help, not always in that order though ;D....<><....:)

That's not a delivery confirmation number, it's just an insurance number, not the same.

well i have to ask at the PO then. not a problem either way.
i do have a question though, i read on the online info, that the BC barrel does not come with a front sight ( any sights ) for that matter, when ordered from the barrel accessory program... is that right ?
am i right in thinking that they come drilled and tapped for the front and rear sights ? do the drilled holes for the rear sights align for the scope base ?

ALL current production H&R rifle barrels are drill and tapped for a scope base, the two rear holes are used for the peep sight, the front of the BC barrel has a 3/8" dovetail for the sight, not screws.

i got an e-mail from NEF. they said "We received it on 12/10 it is currently taking 4 to 6 weeks for barrel fits"
i plan on using a scope, but having a front sight would look better and maybe be handi later on.
  thanks

I put a Marble sight blank filler in the dovetail of my scoped BC and .405 Winchester barrels.

i just made a post for  a trade to get a sight. if that fall thru maybe i'll just buy a sight , but i'l look at the filler .
