my lite 475 load is hitting too high to adjust to...

Hi guys : my load of 9.8 unique behind a lwfngc 420cast is hitting too high and I just about cannot get it down sufficiently to sight it like I want to with my new front and rear sights on the FA.  I did not want to crank the adjustment all the way down and it to still shoot high by six inches but that is what I am getting.
I tried a box of factory hornady 400 grain hollow points rated at 1300 fps IIRC and they printed low with the same hold and adjustment... the recoil was "snappy" ... I am looking for another load that would print lower without having to go quite that power range for the deer hunting... like around 1000 fps .. or at least more powerful than the unique load I have been shooting with...
will I have to buy a bunch of lighter bullets or load the 420s I have a ton of up to 1100 1200 or so ?
I am not adverse to buying more different bullets, and would rather not kick up the recoil to the point of the hornady factory rounds but they are doable... after 80 of the unique loads they were not that bad really, but no need to aggravate the elbow etc more than necessary...
 I have unique   hs110   imr 4227   imr 4350    hs6   and cci 350 primers and starline brass and (right now : 420 cast performance gas checked LFNs) I would order up some 350s or so and I need sometning that we think will shoot a bit lower so that I can sight the thing in for a full six o clock hold with my ken o neil front sight..
any insight would be helpful..
I will also take this opportuity to grip that the lee manual has about two loads, the lyman has none, what is the deal ? I am in need of another manual I guess cause this is not diverse enough for me to find a load for lead and powder and do not want to make it up as I go ..
thanks ... I went to BTB and Cast Boolits, and got a couple of loads but those are not really verified though they are sinmilar to the loads in the lee book...

you can go with faster heavies or gets some lighter bullets but your going to have to live with that gun forever and If i have an ajustable sighted gun i want it to be ajustable not have to ajust the load. If it were me id just buck up and get a taller front sight.

Thought about that Lloyd... sounded a whole lot smarter when you said it though... I was amazed that the point of impact for the bead front compared to the square front sight was way different... I was consistently holding a bit off, I guess... I am just so used to the square sight picture.
I will go on and order a taller sight, already bought one size shorter when I bought this one... thought it would be necessary for lighter bullets and faster heavies.. but I thought wrong...
it is almost there with the sight that is on it but an amount high that I cannot live with.... I could take a different sight picture, but I will just order another of Ken's sights of the higher variety for the FA.. I almost made up some other bullets last nite, but the little press I use and the recent heavy shooting sessions had my elbow hurting and I could not find a load that looked good for the 475 in the two or two and a half manuals I have here... looked at taffin's stuff but it only went up to the 405 grainers.. and I do have a little blue dot, actuallly from some shotgun shellls I used to load : 12 guauge mag 2 3/4 in.
I will keep looking for other choices I am not comfortable since I cannot find a 110 load for the 420s, I will not use it...
I am just going to load up my 44 mag and 45 rounds for this year, I guess, as I have some encore barrels yet to sight in and only really worked out with my six shot 45 and 44 mag so far... I do not want to spend my season half ready and scrambling for time split between the range and the hunting woods.

sorry missed the response..
I am using the taller of the two sight blades purchased..
the load is a bit slow... I found that it still had one more notch down the screw could go on the rear sight, but it was not in a click or notch position and I hate going that low... I loaded up a different load and am quite satisfied now.. I went to a pretty fair dose of hs 6 and it is just fine .. still using the 44 for the moment though... willl take the 475 out again after another time at the range for confidence and reassurance on the sight picture and point of impact..

by the way the sight blades bought fit and look like the highest quality..
I would also say that I am thinking that a major part of the problem was my using gloves some times not others, and having an elbow injury that caused my grip to differ or weaken over time, so it would seem that it was fine then seem to rise on the next twenty shots or so...
it just likes consistency..
the difference may not be the load... probably just more attention to the consistency of grip and experience to know what my grip needs to be to be repeatable at the range, and sustainable..
I am maybe not smart enough to shoot good big pistol...lol
I am embarrassed to admit it but that is what it seems like now... I was holding onto it a bit too tight and tighter than my other big bores like 44 45... and getting tired and weakening with the pain... and did not catch on for a while..
