I just set up to load steel shot duck hunting loads again. I wanted to see how the high velocities provided by Aliant STEEL powder would effect my results. I am loading 1 1/8 oz of steel 2s in a 2 3/4" Federal hull, with a SAM 1 wad. Have not put it over the chronograph yet, maybe tomorrow. Does anyone have any experience with steel shot? Any advice?
