Garmin 200 GPS - HELP

I received the Garman  200 car unit as a Christmas gift.
I need to know if I can buy a memory card and use it as land G P S as well

The Garmin nuvi 200 will except SD cards.  Looking at the picture in the manual the SD card slot when looking at the front is on the left side.  It appears the pre-loaded map package for automotive use is rather complete.

It appears that you can use it as a bicycle and land unit.  The primary limitation will be the five hour battery life.  A word of caution the unit has no waterproof rating and that can limit your outdoor activity.

Hopefully there is a member that has on the ground experience with the 200.  Looking at the manual it seems to be a fun unit.
