Outdoor Life Article

Hello
The latest issue of "outdoor life' magazine has an article about the best place to live for a whitetail deer hunter.
The best place  listed in New York is Oswego,in western N.Y.The next two listed are both in Orange county, eastern N.Y.
Port Jervis,is on the Deleware river, bordering Pennslyvania. The other is Cornwall,on the Hudson riiver, about 10 miles from my home,Newburgh. That hunting area is my favorite. It's almost all mountain hardwood forest.

How about Westchester county. For a few million bucks you could by a 5 acre lot that will produce as many trophy bucks as a thousand acres in TX.

I tried to follow gun control by Outdoor Life, Field and Stream, and Sports Afield back in 1968, and found nothing. Then again in 1994, nothing. McManus and Zumbo, both connected to OL, both came out in favor of gun control in 1994.

I got a clue and looked up the publisher information on the above three, and have never paid any attention to them since.

Fur-Fish-Game is all I read now.
