Mag-na-port 444 Marlin ?

Anyone try it ? Worth the cost ?

Why?? The .444 doesn't have bad recoil, in fact it's rather mild in comparison to warm 45-70 or .500 S&W loads. And the extra noise the shooter is exposed to isn't worth it to me, I'd recommend spending money on an MRS and better recoil pad instead if the recoil is a problem. ;)

I like having my hearing..   no Magnaporting for me..  My 44mag Dragoon(10.5" brl) is Magnaported, and it's LOUD!   Obnoxiously loud..

There were complaints too about the ported Marlin 1895 GuideGuns in 45-70, 450 Marlin, etc that they were too loud as well.
