Liquid Smoke?

OK, going back to VA next week, and lookin for bears! Do y'all think they will come to the scent of Liquid Smoke?
 I am thinking so, but wanting some feed back from more experienced black bear hunters.

Most guides I've ever talked to swore by that stuff.  I think more people use it than people who don't.

I know our bear guide uses it and swears by it. he also uses vanilla extract.
