there going to a day/night subgun gun and other shoot. I saw some red tip and blue tip incendiary and tracer and what would these do to a gun? and have you used them.

I actually shot some tracer shotgun ammo a few years back for a product evaluation for the company.  I was somewhat unimpressed.  They were visible, but only barely.  On a sunny day the shooter really couldn't see them at all.

I once spoke with an army skeet shooter who said they practiced with tracer ammo.

As for what it did?  I shot them out of my BPS and SBE and 870.  I never noticed anything unusual.  Of course maybe some one who's more in tune with their gun cleanliness would have a more educated opinion than me.

I've fired GI tracer ammo. I don't recall any problems one way or another.  One would think it would smut up the barrel a bit but I don't think it would do any real damage.
You don't want to shoot tracer ammo when there are folks shooting back. That can cause some serious damage.

la la land is only a cut and paste away!

tracer ammo is educational about what bullets do after the target.  it really opened my eyes to what goes on.   but,  it WILL start fires,  so be careful of that.   you wouldnt want to start a dump or anything on fire......

you can't have blue tip incendiary in FL anymore but tracer is ok. just looked it up, if you had some before 5/20/2007 then you can still shoot them off but you can't buy anymore.
