Firelapping a Glock
« on: December 22, 2007, 02:57:17 PM »
I have a friend who has a Glock 45 and wants to shoot cast in it.  Have you heard of anyone firelapping a Glock?  I don't see how it could do anything but help.

Thanks,

Crabo

I would try it with cast first and if accuracy doesn't make you completely happy, lap it.  Or run a pushthrough through the barrel before lapping at least, which will tell you if the barrel can be improved.    So far as smoothness, Glock barrels are smooth as a new baby's bottom, and they shoot lead very well.
