Island plantation hog hunting
« on: December 28, 2007, 02:54:10 PM »
I just booked a hunt there for me and my kid the end of March. Cannot bait due to turkey season. Hope I did not pick a bad location, just wanted us to get away together and hunt . Will be stand hunting not with dogs. Hope we will be treated ok. Realy looking forward to just taking the trip. They said they have been having a good sucess rate

I have had very limited experience with outfitters but I have been warned about guaranteed hunts.
I know of a few unhappy trips - not what they were expecting.
If you don't mind a canned hunt where they push the pigs right past your stand, then you should have a good time.
You might want to check out the outfitters review site and read some other's hunters opinions on some outfitter's ;

Good luck
