I just recently came in possession of an XP-100 shot out in 22-250.The only thing I know about the Beowulf is that it fits in an AR and fits the bolt face of my new pistol.Maybe I'm way off in left on this one but why wouldn't it work?

Hello 4elk, The .50 Beowulf is a rifle cartridge developed by Alexander Arms for use in a modified AR-15 rifle. The cartridge utilizes a rebated rim, sized to match the rim of the 7.62x39mm and 6.5 mm Grendel rounds. It is very similar in dimensions to the .500 S&W Magnum revolver cartridge.
