Re bi pods,  I had one of the Harris types and used it on several different Ruger#1 and decided to do without. I have no idea why someone with a 375 H&H would or for that matter would NOT use one.
What is the point of Life if you can't have fun.

I love my .375 H&H. I shoot 270g. Barnes TSX and have killed both moose and elk with it. I shot an elk this pass fall, quartering toward me. I found the bullet on the oppisite side butt cheek, under the skin. It took 2 steps and fell dead. My moose went half the distance. I think that bullet is still going. Love that .375.

A point of interest here  ;) on Sunday at the range I took off the Sound Moderator from the 22lR rifle I was shooting and fired a couple of shots. The POI moved over 1" at 25 meters, screwed it back on and POI went back to where it was zeroed  ;D one can only guess how far the POI moves at 100 yards+.
