Encore Grip on a G2 ?

  I was reading on OTT's website about a adapter clip that they sell for $10 that adapts an Encore grip to be mounted on a G2. Has anyone used one of these?  I was thinking that the new Encore Pachmayr grip might absorb recoil better than my G2's rubber grip? I would think that the Encore frame is wider and might leave a gap but arn't sure about this?

The inletted area of the Encore is wider and the Grip Chip is a plastic insert that takes up this extra space. I have never used one but have modified Encore grips to fit the G2 in other ways.

  Wonder if the Encore grip on a G2 increases trigger reach and if it reduces felt recoil?
