.223 Remington Barnes TSX Bullet Help
« on: March 19, 2008, 03:36:28 AM »
Going to reload some Barnes 62 gr. TSX bullets soon for my handi .223 with a 1:9" twist.
I have imr-4198 and varget on hand anyone have a tried and tested load for this bullet?

Also Barnes recommends specifically to use copper cleaner, will the ole Hoppes still do the trick
or is it to evolve?

Hoppes works great for powder fouling and lead. I would use something with a bit more kick to it for the Barnes.

Welcome NYSdeerslayer!  I use foaming cleaners for all types of bullets including the TSX.  ;)
