Believe me I've been a union member for 15 years and it pains me to see where my dues go. A portion is used for presidential funding, and you can be fairly certain it won't be a republican candidate. I asked my rep "What if I'm a republican?" and he said" Then I don't want to know." Nice huh?

The unions look at how a candidate will benefit the union and only that, so I guess if that's all you look for it makes sense. I look at the big picture and truly believe it would be a huge mistake to put her in that office. I don't care about sex, race or religion she doesn't belong there for the betterment of the country.

It was stated on talk radio, They said back then that was the fad in collages. Someone posted a list on News Max.com of all the people in the political spot light who had done things like that in the 60s. A lot of the organizations these people were joining had ties to many forms of Communism. A lot of the things they support today are no different ,but now it is called socialism for a better term. Look at how many supported Mau back then. Or Chavez today !Look at how you are Taxed ? and who is doing it ,no wonder the Russians call us the land of the not so free.
Hillary was not alone in this ,You all remember Fonda , Listen to Cher talk .or Rosie. News Max is only one site that Will tell you a lot of this stuff.
Look at the classes she took ,the papers she wrote,The organizations she joined ,and what they had ties to.
Hillary and the others had to know who was pulling the strings.

The one i really like is the Governor of Alaska. Sara Palin , go look at her and tell me what you think. Very pro 2nd Amm. almost like she wrote the Constitution. But she is young,Pretty, but if you see what she did to Alaska ,if she could do that in the lower 48 ,all of this ,and the corruption would be over. When asked about the 2nd ,she only said ,,what does the Constitution say ? ( media )
But Governor ,what about ,she stopped them and repeated ,what does the Constitution say ? Then she said,as an Elected official i took an oath to uphold .and defend the Constitution of the United States ,if you want to know what my position is on any matter ,read the Bill of Rights,and the Constitution. She said ,the Government of the United States has no right to regulate an individuals right to keep and bear arms. Any arms. Or to proceed with illegal search and seizure methods against law abiding Americans. Further more Americans are being Taxed out of existence ,all agency's need to be accountable for the Taxes they levy on their citizens. Our Boarders are out of control, it isn't fair for an immigrant from Italy to come here ,and go through the system legally ,then see a Mexican come here and go to the head of the line,or not at all ,and receive benefits. Welfare has failed,the ones needing it do not receive it, and the ones not qualified seem to get it all.
I heard her make this speech ,she got a standing ovation.

I was recently reading a news article somewhere (don't remember where) that stated that exact context.  Salin Palin is extremely well liked here in Alaska.  Big oil doesn't' like her and have threatened to take their bat and go home.  More power to them then, IMO get the h*** out.  I don't mind paying a user tax to support State government if we can stop corruption and big oil influence.  Governor Palin is very much a capitalist, yet she tempers her opinions to include the citizenry and their concerns.  An example of this is Exxon has appealed the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals decision to award 2.5 billion dollars to the over 30,000 claimants impacted and harmed by the oil spill.  Exxon has submitted to the Supreme Court approximately 25 amicus briefs in support of its position to overturn the appeals decision.  Many of these are from national organizations dependent on oil or its shipments.  IE National Chamber of Commerce, National Longshoreman's Union, American Petroleum Institute, and Washing Legal Foundation.  Every amicus brief in support of Exxon is dependent on or subject to lost revenue if they do not support Exxon.  None were directly involved with any exposure to the effects of the spill.  Alaska's government revenue is derived mostly from oil, yet Governor Palin is having the State submit an amicus brief in support of the plaintiffs in opposition to Exxon.  She has further requested amicus briefs from more than 15 other States and has received favorable replies.  Her position is that Exxon did not and has not compensated for all the harm done by the spill and had their day in court.  Exxon has lost every court decision, every appeal, and every remand to review this decision, with regard to punitive damages being imposed on them for reprehensible conduct through lack of enforcement of company policy that contributed to the spill.  She definitely is a stand up and ethical governor. 
Fred does have a chance.  He is second in Wyoming, which has more delegates than NH.  He will do well in the Southern States once he gets his campaign money used to get attention.  I too think he is behind the eight ball, yet he still has just that, a chance.

I worked in Alaska for two years ,Mapping out the Anwar province ,for people who if we did need to drill there ,what the impact might be.
I remember the Carter years ,when all of America was lost and humiliated by images of Iran on TV. Then a little voice came out of the Blue that made us feel better again .No one cared that he was an actor ,or was the Governor of California,he made us feel proud again ,and the people sent him to Washington.
I was on the ice ,i walked into a camp house to warm up and Sara was on TV having been in office only 4 weeks.
You could have heard a pin drop , Who was this mousy little woman ? standing there talking like a Titan.
She wasn't afraid of the media, They couldn't trip her up, and after awhile they all went silent.
She said things Americans wanted to hear ,she talked about Abusive Government ,and the Constitution of the United States.
About illegal search and seizure used by the Treasury Dept.in her State and it was going to stop.
Firearm ownership is an Americans right ,Guaranteed by the 2nd Amendment and this was not open to Debate.
She talked about reckless Taxation ,Welfare gone wild, and she had solutions and she didn't double talk.
She has the peoples ear for sure. Big shots in both party's fear her ,and they should.
As her name gets more wide spread ,people here in the lower 48 see her as a Champion .Some say President.
Then you get the ,she is to young ,needs experience,a Senator or something. Like the crap they said when she ran for Governor.
The people like her because she hasn't been in Washington,she isn't part of the beltway.
Experience ? Everyone running now has a lot of that ,and look at what we have ?
Some bloggers on other sites say give this woman a stage for one hour ,and the next day her name is all you will hear.
I saw on a late night Fox report ,that the Obama camp watched some of her videos ,trying to translate it into something he could use .After last week ,i guess it is working.
