I've never heard that complaint about the Vaquero but if you spend enough time online you'll hear most anything. My own Vaqueros were the old model in .44 mag loaded of course with .44 Specials, and I never had the slightest problem in getting my handloads pretty darn close to center. For Cowboy Action Shooting you don't need to thread needles, the targets are big and close. More important is a gun which will stand lots of rapid fire work and be totally reliable and for that nothing beats a Ruger. And if pin point accuracy were required I still don't know what would beat a Ruger.
