Usually high rings are needed without hammer modificatiion, see the "Rings" link in the FAQs and Help sticky to see what others are using, you can probably use the rings you have if you trim the hammer a tad and add a hammer extension which you can buy from H&R or most sporting goods retailers, the H&R extension is made by Uncle Mike's. You can also put a want to buy ad in the NEF Classifieds for one.
