Martini Qs
« on: November 26, 2007, 03:37:04 PM »
Is this the right place to talk about em?

If so if anyone has a Martini and would like to share any info and or pics I would sure like it....

been stung by a Bee, a 218 Bee that is and it has a 1/2 round-1/2 oct barrel with flip up peeps. It might be a week or two before it lands in my hot lil hands but thought for now info on em might help me get to sleep at night while i am awaiting yet one more of my dreams to come true! Thanks

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction... Not like I didn't know where the SS forum is because i have posted there but is that the correct place???? Maybe it is here on this forum because of it being a lever action???? Maybe better off at this place , Round The 'Ole Pot-Bellied Stove
The place to discuss other gun or non gun-related topics that don't have a specific forum. Also Collectibles, Handguns etc

Ah, heck it doesn't make too much difference I guess where I posted this, I just wanted the Martini guys to share some of there stuff with me. I am really excited to finally get one!!!!

I have a 22LR, picked it up a bunch of years ago.  Front sight is enroute .

I have shot it with a scope but need to find the proper back sight.

I am not 100 per cent sure it is a Martini.  It does have a pivoting block like the Martini but as you point out the triggers are way back there.

Double set triggers are not uncommon on European rifles especially ones made for target work.

These can be used either set or unset (some can only be used set).  Unset the trigger pull is somewhere around 6 pounds.

I have adjusted them to where when they were set just moving the barrel to vertical would cause them to fire.  Normally I keep it adjusted to about 2 pounds.

It is a blast to shoot.
