Pools are also highly illegal in Utah. I really dont need any racketering charges. Hard enough to stay out of trouble with the wife. :-D Dont want trouble with the guys in black too. :shock: Just good natured funnin at TC's expense. I really love the Contender and the Hawken products. I just believe if they wanted the G-2 out in the publics hands it would be there. I would have to do some research but I believe they had the Encore out within a year of its anouncement. The only thing I can figure is that they have not recouped their investment with the Encore. And they, or some finacial institution, or bean counter has put a hold on this project. I own several Contenders, I agree that the early frames could be dangerous in the hands of someone who doesnt know what they are doing. But the last generation of frames are idiot proof as far as I am concerned. I have yet to loose a chance at a shot because I have had to "reactivate" the cocking mechanism. As far as the barrels out of TC are concerned I have yet to run into a bad one. I have lost count on the number of barrels I have owned. Every one of them has out shot me. I will say that the current factory barrels since the fire seem to have lower quaility finish or buff on them. The high buff blue barrels of the 70's and 80's are really atractive. I bought a 4 digit frame several years ago, it was obviously streched when I purchased it. TC agreed to see if they could repair it. $45.00 and one week later I had a brand new frame, would rather of had the 4 digit serial number but was happy with a new frame. Their customer sevice has always been great to me. Oh well enough rambling. G-2, big foot, ufo's, lepricans, FACT,FICTION OR MYTH. :eek:
