a little direction please
« on: January 14, 2008, 11:13:26 AM »
Hello everyone,
I'm wanting to buy a handi in a 3030 but it looks like everyone is sold out of them.
Do any of  you know anyplace that sells to ffl holders that might have one in stock?
There is one on Guns America for $319.00 bucks.
Am I correct in thinking that is a little on the steep side?
Thanks
Morgan

Give Whittakers a call, they're good to deal with and have excellent prices.

I would agree with Tim on Whittakers, but I don't think I have ever seen a 30-30 on his shelf.  I don't really understand it, but I looked for one there for a long time.  He is only about 30 minutes from me, so I get there every couple of weeks or so.  Darryl is great to deal with though.  Give it a try.

Why not buy another caliber and send it to H&R to have a 30-30 barrel fit?  If you shop around, you can end up with a rifle and extra barrel for not much over the $319.
