yes you can shoot slugs out of a full choke They tell you they say open chokes are best but I've got a full choke turkey gun that is the best smoothbore slug gun I have

Thanks i wasn't sure if it would work but i am thinking of sending new shotgun back for 410 barrel later on or getting a new complete gun to shoot slugs out of need to look at some regs though want to use it for up close yotes if legal.

I have shot rifled slugs many times from my old topper 88 410, which is now my sons, and from my newer pardner 410 bore. That I've had made into a slug shooter. It now is a cylinder bore and wears a 4 power scope and is an excellent little slug shooter. From my experience so far I believe the Brenneke 3" 1/4 oz. is the best. Perhaps others have it different for them, but I have found that consistent accuracy with just the bead front sight out to 50 yards is not good with the small diameter barrel of the 410. Good luck with your 410. scout4<><
