You could try a poor man's approach first. Take the grips off and unhook one side of the trigger spring and try it. If that seems better for you, then take a pair of pliers and put a bend 'down' in the middle of the leg of the spring that hooks on the grip frame pin. Do this to both sides and try it. Cycle it a couple of times with the grips off and see if the 'bent' portion of the spring hits the mainspring. A bump is ok but if you put too much bend in the arm, it can lift off the pin when the mainspring hits it, and you will have to re-adjust it. There are reduced trigger pull springs out there but I find this is usually enough for me. Do not put a 'reduced' mainspring in as this affects your hammerfall and that the wrong direction to getting a better trigger pull. 44 Man
