Finished CVA kit

I just finished my second kit Rifle a CVA Mt.Rifle in .50 cal. ;D I hope it shoots as well as they say.It a made in the USA gun from 1977

very nice . i really liked the mountain rifles from CVA .
 Beings its stamped made in the USA on it , you have a very good  barrel as well . Either Sherin  or Douglas. Again nice job

That's one nice looking rifle. I would love to get my hands on a flint version in 54 or 58.

It's better to shoot for the sky and come a bit short than to shoot for the ground and hit every time. After all, the ground is just a place to start, the sky's the limit.

Nice gun! I like the feel of the mountain rifle.  I have two, a 50 and a 45 cal.  The 45  is a flintlock that I bought used from Track  and has proved to be a real shooter.   I have killed two deer last year and 1 this year with it . It is a good shooting gun.  The 50 cal. was my Dad's that I put together for him a number of years ago.  I haven't shot it in several years.  I need to get it out and limber it up.
