Anyone use this scope on a Handi?

Pentax Gameseeker Scope 1.75-5x 20mm Precision Plex Reticle

Gameseeker scopes feature 1-piece tube construction with fully multi-coated optics for a bright, clear picture. The Precision Plex reticle offers simple bullet drop estimation at all ranges. Waterproof, fogproof and shockproof. Covered under the Pentax Worry-Free Warranty

They are priced around $100. I normally use a Weaver 1-3x20mm or a Leupold 1-4 or 1.5-5x20mm but the Weavers are now $150 and the Leupolds are an arm and a leg and I won't pay that. I like the compact 20 mm scopes and thought this one might be worth a try. Read some reviews on them and some say they did have trouble with reticle coming undone. Others say the optics are crisp and clear.

Can't say as I ever saw a Pentax scope around these parts to actually look at one.

This isn't really going to answer your question but......may be helpful to you overall...

I have a Pentax Lightseeker 3-9x40(a few steps up from the gameseeker) and would put it up against a Monarch ANYDAY! it's bright, clear and makes lots of light. Gets me extra hunting time....I know you are looking to spend around a $100. but I noticed the folks on eBay (OUCH) seem to have little respect for the older Pentax and they go pretty cheap...or maybe one of the members will have a spare....I like Pentax glass! FWIW

btw....my Lightseeker is on my Huntsman 26" ML....they made a great team!

I have one Game seeker that I was given as a gift. I can not say that I would recommend them. I have a 3x9x40, the glass is pretty good but above 6x the parallax is very bad and I can only see through a very small area in the scope. I would stay with the weaver.

If you use the Search button below the Google search box, you'll get lots of hits, they've been discussed here and in the Optics forum a fair amount. ;)
