Conservation Organizations - Deer

Hi guys.  I just popped over to the deer hunting forum.  I spend most of my time on the Marlin and NEF areas, and haven't been here before.  My apologies in advance if this is a frequent question, or an antagonizing one.

What conservation organizations do you deer hunters support, belong to or otherwise think highly of?  I belong to several organizations focused on other fish and game species, but none for deer.  I am curious about which other GBO fans see as useful for the sport, the members and of course for the deer?

I just got an invite to a Whitetails Unlimited banquet in the mail today, I won't be attending.  In my opinion whitetails breed like rats, live everywhere, and don't need any conservation beyond the game laws that already exist.
