The future of Black powder ?
« on: January 23, 2008, 04:45:21 AM »
Has anyone wondered about what is happening with Congress ,and the fact the next President from the looks of things is going to be very anti gun ,any gun .
So far i have only heard one Politician even mention Cannon ,it was during all that mess about the 50cals.
When someone said how big they were ,she said ,oh they get very much bigger ,and far more dangerous and hide under the title of Historical weapons.
Her and one other wanted them to be labeled a Destructive Device ,requiring you to get a stamp ,to own.
I know in England they have Cannon ,but they stay in an Armory and you have got to be part of some group in order to even touch them.
In this time i Command ,That you take the Secular to Jerusalem .
There you rid the Holy City of the Scourge of Islam , Make the streets run red with the Blood of those who wish to wash Israel and Christianity from the face of the Earth.

In my opinion, black powder will be around and available for a long time in the US.  The politicians have bigger fish to fry like global warming, war in Iraq, economy etc.  The anti-gunners are focusing on handguns and assault weapons at the moment.

Our local politicians here in northern VA tried to pass an anti-cannon law about 20 years ago.  An idiot who had a contract to develop an 30mm sniper rifle blew up a gas pump while he was playing with the gun while filling his gas tank.  I wrote all the politicians and got hold of some cannon supporters in the right places who killed the legislation.
