Diameter on 357mag and 30/30 Handi Barrel

What are the OD of these barrels at the muzzle in your handi?  I just called H&R and asked if the issue with the long throats on the 357mag barrel had been addressed.  The lady I spoke to said "I haven't heard of any issues".  What is your take on the matter?  I'm thinking if I get a 357mag barrel and possibly have it rechambered to 357 Herret.  What is the lightest pills the 357mag will shoot accurately at 50-100yds?  Juices are flowing. ;D

Approximate muzzle diameters are listed in the FAQs, my 357/35 Rem barrels are .742" and .744". ALL .357mag H&R chambers have a long jump to the rifling, that's just the way they make em for some reason. :-\
