California Hog Hunting

What part of Kalifornia are you in ? I am a novice pig hunter , but I can tell that  here in Ka. pigs on public land are hard to find but not impossible . I have been working on 2 different locations . I have found pig signs in one and the other I know it holds pigs I just am not sure If I can hunt with centerfire or if it is shotgun only.

When I was stationed in Sacramento we had good luck by Williams and Indian Valley Reservoir.
