just a heads up

sent one of my rifles in a month ago for repairs. Figure I would have a 30-30 barrel installed while its at the factory. I was told then that the 30-30's were in stock, but when I called today to check on it, i was told there out of 30-30's and have been for weeks. they had no idea when they would be available either.

Another heads up.  I also called NEF yesterday to check on a parts order, for among other things, a couple of Ultra scope rails.  I was told by customer service that the Ultra scope rails are discontinued.  They are out of them and are only carrying the standard rails now.   :'(

The Ultra scope rail was discontinued last year, it was reported and I marked it as such in the FAQs with the scope rail pics.

I sent in a frame 11-5-07 for SL 22 Hornet and 444 Marlin barrels + 5 lam fore ends and lam stock. Received them all on the 01-15-08. I had called before sending to confirm inventories and part numbers and they were spot on. I did not talk to Jennifer, but another nice lady. She was very helpful. ;D
