All right maybe I am crazy but here goes..... I have a NEF/Survivor in .308 Win. I was looking at it last night and wondering if a the new LW 12 ga. slug gun barrel (Ultragon)could be fit to it. Now before someone out there says this guys "nuts" he wants the total package to be lighter than what is offered today, please listen. It is my intent to get a spare survivor barrel forend and ballast/balance the stock to it. I am seeking a goal of a 8 to 8.5 lb slug gun with scope. I think it is possible. I will probably have to wait a year before the barrels alone are available but we will see. Opinions ?
