I reload using a Sierra 120 Grain Hollow Point Boattail with a moderate amount of Reloader 22. The deer seem to just drop right in there tracks when I shoot them with this load, plus it is very very accurate in my Savage.

115 gr Ballistic Silver Tips over 53.4 gr of H4831. This is a max load, so it needs to be worked up to carefully!

120gr Partition, 52gr IMR4831, WLR primer. This is also a max load and some list it as being over max but I have had good results with it. Use caution!!!!

117 gr. Hndy BTSP over R22 w/a WLR primer.  Accurate, deadly, and not to abusive to the shooter.

I tested loads of IMR4350, RL22, and H1000 with the 115 Partition, and the H1000 load was a little slower, but had the best group sizes. Of course your rifle may be totally different - my dad's doesn't like anything but 100 grain bullets.
