Barrel Program
« on: January 30, 2008, 05:21:37 PM »
I know this is the place to ask. I sent my 1871 Target 38-55 off today to be fitted with the 45-70 Buffalo Classic barrel. How long does it usually take to get them back. Is the BC barrel in high demand?
Thanks Guy's

The standard 6-8weeks is normal, just depends on how busy they are and if the barrel is in stock which will delay it, the BC barrel is fairly popular tho. Give em a call or email in a couple weeks and they'll tell you how long it might be and if there will be a delay.

I sent one off for a .357 barrel on December 5th and it came back yesterday so about seven weeks from door to door. I have a variety of loads made up and ready to try, maybe today if it isn't too windy.

Sent in my Target model foe a 45-70 BC and 357 mag. Called and both barrels are in stock and should take 5 weeks.
Hope this helps.

Want to bore out the 45-70 to 45-100 or 120 and the 357 to a max.

Have a great day.
