Numrich has a Topper buck shotgun barrel that has a screw on forend stud if that helps any, I dunno when they switched to the screw on type tho, the oldest H&R I've had that had the screw was a 1972.

Does it have a transfer bar? Those started about 1980.

No transfer bar...older than 1980...

BTW. I need a transfer bar for another shotgun action...where can i get one?

H&R will send you one free if it broke, Brownell's sells them too, it's called a lifter and striker.
