Re: restoring integrity of feather fletching

Hello...

I'm a previously compound bow hunter who recently got back into traditional archery after a 40 year lapse.  I have been using the same Beman carbon feather fletched arrows since I got my Martin recurve.  Over that time, the feather fletching has not been damaged so much as just "ruffled".  When it gets wet, I have used a blow drier to dry it out.  But I am wondering:  is there a sure fire method of restoring or revitalizing worn feather fletching?  Or, is there nothing you can do to bring it back to life, until you reach the point of just replacing it with new fletching?

Your comment would be most appreciated...

Cheers,
Gary

I'll try it and see what happens.  I haven't had time yet...

Thanks for the advice.

Cheers,
Gary
