350 Rem Mag, I need good brass (Not Remington)

Hi, currently I have Remington cases, but they're getting too thin. It was the most shoulder pounding gun I've ever shot, so I sent it back to get a muzzle brake. Now I finally worked up a load of 250gr Swifts and 52gr 4064 and I'm switching over to BL-C(2).

Good luck!  Reduce your loads, anneal your cases, neck size only.  Nobody makes 350 mag cases but Remington that I'm aware of.

Of course you could buy whatever Win Mag case you like best, in whatever your favorite brand of brass is, and shorten them and neck them and size them .  Me, I'd work with the Remington's (I do have a 350 in 700 Classic but haven't experienced your problems).

Remington is the only one that makes .350 Rem Mag cases.  I bought some brass several years ago, that had been made from 7MM Rem Mag cases.  Have never gotten them out of the bag.  When Remington discontinued making the .350 ammo back in the mid 90s I bought all the ammo the gun shops had in my area.  So I have lots of cases to work with, probably enough to last me the rest of my life.  I don't shoot either of my .350s a lot, too much recoil to feel comfortable.  I only use them for bears over bait, they work good for that.  The Remington 600 is a beautiful little gun.  Love to look at it, and let others admire it's good looks.  Hate shooting it, but it is devastating on Black Bears at 10 to 20 yards.

Yeah - I know what every body is Talking about "That recoil".  It's right up there with a couple 06's and 280's that I shoot, But not like some 12 ga. Turkey Guns.

Yessir!  A Remington 870 Express Supermag with turkey loads, or even worse for me, a Mossberg 835, hits me a lot harder than the 350!  The Mossberg in particular makes me punch myself in the nose quite sharply, probably due to the tang safety and my tendency to stock-creep.  The Remington hits me in the cheek bone.  I own the Remington and have shot a number of  Mossbergs and am convinced that either with 3 1/2" turkey loads is stouter than the 350 in a 700 Classic.  But of course the stock probably counts for more of the perceived recoil than do the the pure physics.  Can't speak as to the 600 or 660 or 673 as I've never shot any of them in 350.  -WSJones

Redding sells a form and trim die that is used to make 350 rem mag brass from 338 win brass.

Shot a 350 and it sure does boot'ya.  BTW...my ouch gun is an Ithaca 37 with a slug barrel and fed, standard length, 1 1/4 oz slugs.

I'm not kidding Ya, My Model 7 CDL 350 Mag. with the Limbsaver pad does not kick any more than My FN Mauser 06 with a Decelerator pad. You want recoil, Try My BPS 10ga. with 3oz. Triplex Turkey Loads and a Super Full choke. Have to resole My sneakers every Spring!!
