Simmons binoculars

Anybody have any first-hand experience with the Simmons Master Series binoculars?

They are typical low-cost Chinese manufactured roof prism binoculars.  They can be had for $160 which in my opinion is well below what I consider acceptable for a roof prism binoculars, especially that they are not phase corrected.  For that price you will get a much better view with porros like the Nikon Action Extreme or Pentax PCF WP II.  The cheapest roof prism I find acceptable is the $185 Olympus Magellan EXWP I.  I looked through the Simmons and chuckled, quickly placing them back in the rack.  Look elsewhere.
